A senior operational role overseeing the movement, lifting and controlled flow of materials and equipment across demanding construction projects in Abu Dhabi. You will create the logistics framework that allows site teams to work safely, efficiently and to programme.
The remit covers forward planning, transport and fleet coordination, lifting interfaces, equipment utilisation and day-to-day site logistics. You will lead the logistics team, align priorities with project and construction management, resolve constraints before they affect delivery and maintain clear oversight of contractors, assets and safe working practices.
The appointment will suit an established manager who understands the realities of large construction sites and can combine detailed operational control with calm leadership and effective cross-functional coordination.
Requirements
This position calls for a highly experienced logistics leader from major construction or engineered-material projects. You should have managed site logistics, specialist transport, lifting activity, fleets and equipment interfaces in a safety-critical environment. Familiarity with precast operations and the UAE construction market will be valuable. We are seeking strong people leadership, planning discipline and the ability to coordinate contractors and project teams under pressure. A relevant engineering, construction or logistics qualification is preferred; recognised lifting-industry certification would be an advantage.
